If you record new content at regularly scheduled times, why should you have to spend time and effort categorizing your podcasts? With the EDUcast Server you don’t have to!

For example, let’s say that you teach a class every Monday at 10:00am called Intelligent Podcasting 101. You show up one morning to teach your class, and you want your lecture categorized along with your previous recordings for this class. Here’s what you need to do:

Insert your key into any EDUcast system (HD,SD, or Audio) at 10:00 on Monday
Give your lecture
Unplug your key when you are done

All you have to do is log into your server account at the beginning of the term and use our easy to use web interface to setup a schedule for your classes. The EDUcast system works with the server to identify when the recording took place and whether it occurred during one of your scheduled events. Any recordings will be automatically categorized for you, so anyone who has subscribed to that class via your RSS feed or accesses your course through your LMS will automatically get the new recording.

If you are a business person wanting to record an annual board meeting, a monthly sales meeting or a weekly training session the process is exactly the same. Same thing for pastors who want to record their sermons and make them available to their congregations.
